Lent at the Cathedral

We are reminded to keep a holy Lent by self-examination, penitence, prayer, fasting and almsgiving, and by reading and meditating on the word of God.
Mondays at 12:15 pm Noonday Prayer and Bible Study. This year, instead of a meditation at the noonday service, the Dean will lead us in a study of the Passion Narratives. Please plan on joining us. We begin on Monday, March 11.
Mondays at 6:30 pm Adult Confirmation Classes. If you are interested in confirmation, please join our Confirmation Classes. For more information, see the note below.
Tuesday, March 26 at 6 pm Parish Dinner followed by Q and A with the Dean. Do you have a burning theological question you’ve always wanted to ask? Are you curious as to why we do certain things in the liturgy? Now is your chance! More details will be announced next week.

Tuesday, April 9 at 7 pm Director of Music Dr. Neil Cockburn will give a lecture on Handel’s Messiah—which was originally conceived as a Lenten work. You won’t want to miss what promises to be an informative and entertaining evening. More details will be announced next week.
